What Is Frown Line Botox?
Frown line Botox is placed into the corrugator supercilii and procerus muscles between the eyebrows. Those two muscles draw the brows together and pull the skin down at the bridge of the nose, and that repeated motion folds the skin into the vertical 11 lines. The injection interrupts the nerve signal reaching the muscles, so they contract with less force and the skin above them folds far less often. Softening begins over the first several days, and the area between the brows looks smoothest in the couple of weeks after that. Movement returns at three to four months. How many units the glabella takes is decided by how strongly those muscles pull and where the brows sit.
